One card to rule them all
Approached by a product management team, the client had a flex proposition with an innovative “all-in-one” card for digital-first users for a digital bank.
Consumers can maximize and consolidate rewards, to strengthen the appeal of its reward program with a single card.
I was assigned to create and design examples of user experiences which alignes to their proposed MVP and roadmaps for the client's use cases.
Challenges and Solutions
Ethical combination of banking with a reward system
The app introduced a unique system where users earned points for everyday banking activities and could use them to enter limited missions. The challenge was to design this feature in an ethical way – to make it a reward, not gambling.
Solution
Users had the flexibility to pay AND participate – missions were earned through spend usage. This kept engagement high. Since we structured it as a bonus system rather than a betting model, the result was an ethical and engaging experience that met both regulatory and user expectations.
Multiple card provisioning, one card to rule them all
Consolidate multiple cards into a single smart card, giving users the power to manage and differentiate spending types effortlessly. Maintain control over expenses and optimize rewards—all in one place.
Solution
Create intelligent rules that automatically route payments through the most suitable linked card based on spending category, reward optimization, or user preferences. Enjoy a seamless, hassle-free payment experience with maximum flexibility and value.
Tight deadline
The client needed four distinct user flows designed and ready for their presentation—within just one week.
Solution
Built a streamlined design system as the foundation to ensure consistency and speed. Leveraged reusable components and rapid prototyping to deliver all four flows efficiently, while maintaining high design quality under a tight timeline.
